 Welcome to The Path of Tea
It is our mission to provide you with as many organic and free trade artisan teas, in our tea shop or our online store, as possible, and create an atmosphere of tranquility and serenity where people can reconnect to a simpler time when conversation was an art and peace of body, mind and spirit were our main goals.
As we enter into the tea sanctuary we are reminded to attune our hearts to a time when we had the desire to have harmonious behavior as the center of our being. We honor the necessary timing of all things, and have a reverential respect for all beings and a purity of heart, thought and action.
All of these reminders of a kinder time bring us to a place of tranquility and a sense of calm we find in things being natural.
All of these things bring us into the family we call Humanitea.
It is our desire to honor all of the elements in creating this sacred tea sanctuary (shop).
With the wood we are honoring the Earth and her upliftment. We choose to be like the trees and become a bridge between heaven and earth.
With the water we honor the creativity that takes us to our destiny.
With the fire we honor the energy that transforms.
With the air we honor our ability to create thoughts that unite.
With the metal we honor the alchemy of our differences and uniqueness. This moves us into a place of remembering and embracing unity and oneness, thereby discovering who we truly are.
Tea is the metaphor that reminds us of the process of blending all the elements to create the fulfillment of the union between heaven and earth. It is a sacred ritual.
The selection of the tea represents our free choice.
The brewing of the tea represents our process and that which gives us the elixir of life.
The cup represents our personal vessel we use to partake.
The drinking of the tea is experiencing the fulfillment.
As we discover on The Path of Tea, the teapot represents the vessel that contains and shares the entire process which includes all of Humani-Tea.
